Well, going going soon to be gone!
Pumped up the tyres today. Battery removal later. 5 litres of gas to go in. Refit the battery, wipe the windscreen and away into the countryside!
70k from new, spare never been out of the boot. Interior perfect, paint on bonnet and roof a bit oxidized, small scuff to left rear wheel arch and the sun roof has been siliconed up so must be an issue there.
Whilst I'm in the UK get a car cover. Will need some LHD headlights eventually.
Too good to waste in such a condition. If I dont take it the Council will have it crushed before long. The intention notice was stuck on it a while back. They ain't got round to it yet.....

Well DVLA were no help on obtaining a V5. They wrote back saying as there was an "Exported" marker against the vehicle they will not issue a replacement!
So: We have an abandoned car (3 or 4 years now) on the public street in Spain, with no paperwork.
The Council won't move it.
The scrapyards won't touch it.
UK bound car transporters won't take it without proof of ownership.
I won't go near it without some kind of documentation.

Stale mate!

I will have another go with DVLA by letter and a photo of the car on the street showing it's still on UK plates!

Hi,

I am new to the forum and although the post is from 2019, I am interested how did the story with abandoned 460 ended? Thanks
