That's the ones that can be rewired with the T5 LEDs if you take the plastic base off the LEDs as i described further up Mark.

You're welcome Eric, i notice Mark has also added some other "special Volvo" style bulbs, you could mix and match with those and the more generic types with LEDs in the instruments.

For the 700 LED conversion this Youtube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SqyYSdc1BYQ740 LED walk-through shows how easy it is. Pity the 940 bubs used a different design.

This put me off, especially as cold weather and fiddling with cars is no fun.

I thought you were referring to the instrument cluster bulbs that (AFAIK) are normal ones that can be replaced.

For the main cluster bulbs, if you want the stock look and not Waiting Room White:
10X-Warm-White-3000K-T10-W5W-5SMD-5050-LED

You also need a single T5/286 bulb for top of the speedo. Warm white 1 SMD T5 bulbs seems to be hard to come by now so you're probably SOL.
B8.5D might fit?

For the dashboard switches, why not replace the holder rather than the bulbs? Might have to alter the prism but not too bad. Something like this if you can find one for T5/286 bulbs?
