Default Winter driving on the OEM Bridgestones?

Just wondering how the oem Bridgestone tyres cope with winter use? The car is a 2wd t5 XC60. It's on a fully serviced lease, so unlikely to offer winter tyres.

Can't comment on the Bridgestones but my XC90 is on Pirelli Scorpion and its scary in snow/ice! I put a set of cheap Nankang winters on and last year it went through 50cm of powder in the Italian mountains at Christmas. It was awesome!

Can't comment on an XC60, but I had a Toyota Avensis Excel on Bridgestone summers and it was pants in the snow. Just put Bridgestone winters on the V90, and on cold, damp muddy roads they feel great so far! Much better than the Michelin Cross Climate!

Yep, changed them this week while I had the chance as temperatures are often getting low early morning and late evening.

I was starting to think about it, had our first window scrape last week, so time to put things in place, I was just surprised that the lease companies don't seem to be interested in protecting their assets. They will be providing a set of tyres at some point, so why not a set of winters?

LOL, not tried them in the snow yet. But the small cheap carpets I put down over them slip under the front seats.
