Default Can I fit a bigger tank

Hi,

I bought my second V70 T5 about 6 months ago and I'm really impressed by the LPG system, but a little frustrated by the limited range the circa 40 litre donut tank offers. I do not want a tank fitted in the boot, but wondered if there were any alternatives, offering larger capacity. Anyone know.

Thanks

Matt

Depending on age and type of spare wheel tank you can either use a 70lts open toroidal or a 77lts for early cars and later ones can be fitted with a 65ltr or 72ltr full toroidal. The full toroidals are more expensive and harder to fit but if you need the rang then it could be worth it.

Quoted capacity it water volume gas volume is 80% so a 70 ltr would hold 56lts of gas.

Classicswede, I hadn't appreciated the 80% volume. The car is 2000 P2.

On that age I'm sure you are looking at the 65 or 72 ltr tank
