Rear door not locking

I have noticed that the rear driver side door of my S80 does not lock when the central locking is activated. The door lock button twitches but does not go down fully and lock. I can lock it manually using the button. Any ideas what this is likely to be and how to rectify it?

Mine does the same on occasion, but on the rear passenger side, seems to go through spells of not locking, currently it's fine. In the car menu you can set the remote to only unlock the drivers door on a sngle press of the fob (double press for the rest if required) which would save you always having to re-lock it.
