I belive you can send your original hoses to Samco and they will remake them in silicone. I've seen them offering this service at the NEC classic car show.

That seems a good way forward.

It's a long time since i saw a red block in the metal but i would think it's possible to turn the metal pipe from the back of the water pump upside down so the elbow points to the right. If not it could be cut and joined if it has curves to go round certain things like the oil filter for example or simply another made to suit the RHD application better than the original LHD version.

The pipe on my B200F is straight back from the water pump and bends slightly underneath the exhaust manifold. My suggestion was to cut off the 90deg. around the end of the block. But I would still consider investigating the possibility of new silicone hoses if possible. I still have the two hoses which I removed when I replaced the HCV and hoses many years ago. I may just make some enquiries.

That was the way i was thinking too Ian but rejoin it 180deg away from where it was originally so it comes along under the manifold then turns right towards the heater matrix.

Found this very handy image online, thanks to whoever uploaded it!

I've marked in green where i would suggest cutting it then joining it, perhaps with a compression fitting :

Then turn it so it points towards where the heater matrix is on our cars.
