A simple FOI request will provide this information.

On the flip side, how many have been born / conceived in an XC90??

The main police authorities. They will hold records of road deaths due to RTC's and details of vehicles involved.

"Have any of the road deaths cause by RTC's involved an XC90"

That FIO request would be rejected in Scotland as it would cost too much to manually check thousands of records that are kept all the place.

The insurance companies may keep better data that can be searched. But there are lots of insurance companies, so does Volvo pay them to keep a trace on their records and report back?

The government records are incomplete, as shown above, so that is not the source.
I can assure you that the 'paperwork' involved when there is a fatality is far beyond just writing the car make on a written form. the cars full details including colour and even what luggage it was carrying goes into the investigation report which will at a later date be made available to certain orgs including MIB, roads planning and car manufacturers so they can learn how to make cars and roads safer

Possibly because the XC90 is the only one with that claim so that's the one they are boasting about , I personally know of deaths involving an S40 and another Volvo in the last 10 years.

Nice to hear you on here again Laney.

In Sweden volvo's accident investigation team go out to every accident involving one of their cars , they have been doing this for over 50 years now .

They know what they are talking about ...

47% of people are caused by accidents.

36% of statistics are made up.
