Volvo S60 2.0T, 2006 Face-lift model, Long MOT, No advisory

The car is located in Exeter, Devon

The car is in great condition and really well maintained. Long MOT and no advisories on the last test. The car had full service history, up until when I got it. Since I bought the vehicle, it has been maintained by myself.


In the last two years, the car had the following parts replaced:

Clutch;

Flywheel;

Timing belt;

Front calipers;

Brake discs & brake pads all around;

Front coil springs;

Struts mounts (both components);

Shock absorbers (front & rear);

Control arms;

Anti-roll bar ends (front & rear);

Tie rods (inner & outer);

Ball joints;

Premium braided brake lines (front & rear);

New PCV system;

Spark plugs;

Original Volvo coolant;

Premium brake fluid;

Engine mounts (not all);

Fuel, Air and Oil filters (obviously later two had been replaced more than once);

Injector seals;

Throttle body and inlet manifold gaskets;


Almost certainly I am missing something important. As you can probably tell, this car has been cherished and well looked after. Of course, it is not a new car, so there are some bad points:

It will need tires soon.

I suspect the drive belt tensioner is noisy, so probably drive belt kit wouldn’t hurt;

The car indicates problem with the parking sensors and the alarm. The sensors start working, when it has been hot for few days. The alarm works. As far as I am aware, the code relates to the alarm battery, which needs replacing. Bought the car with this two problems and never bothered me enough to fix them.

Everything else works as intended. It is a lovely car indeed. Smooth and very powerful. It has the up-rated sound system, with dedicated amplifier under the driver seat. The wheels are the most desirable 18 inch, split rim Nebula wheels, made by BBS. Great wheels, however, they do need some attention. It also has the rear Spaceball gear knob.


The reason for the sell is that we haven’t used any cars in the last few months and we have two of them. As you can probably tell, I love this car, I have invested plenty of time, money and effort in it, and I will sell it only if I get the price I want. This sell is far from desperate and urgent, so please, if you are not ready to pay the price asked – don’t waste yours and my time. The price is final and will not drop. Any questions – please ask.
