Default V70 2001 petrol auto - quick valuation and sale

Having acquired a newer V70 from a forum member, our older V70 is for sale. It's a 2.4 petrol auto, 101,000 miles, in silver with SE spec (full leather). It has the 7 seat conversion. It's got a few small dents and needs a service and a good clean, but has been maintained throughout our five year ownership by a Volvo independent. Also will need new front tyres soon. Had cambelt changed and it's got fairly new front disks/pads in.

Any idea what I should let it go for? It's in London (Dalston). A passer-by has just offered £950 for it.

thanks

Marc

Yes you said: "im going to be cheeky and offer you £500 cash with a further payment £200 on my payday!"

Cheeky question I know, but I've already been offered £950 - what would you do?

All these are OK - it drives well. I had stuck a notice for £1500 on it but happy to let it go for £1000 plus the tax to end of year, £150.

Id say the offer of 950 from a passer-by was pretty much on the money. You might get 1-200 more, but will probably suffer a lot of hassle for it.

To have it gone and money in you pocket 950 seems fair.

The offer of 500 is very cheeky - unless your desperate tell them to jog on!

it was £750, actually... and i dont like jogging that much cheers, and my offer was fair considering never seeing the car, and he orginally asked for valuations...and i valued it at that price... if he needed a more acurate valuation buy a parkers guide
