If you have a 340 then you can fit a b18ft (1.7 turbo from 440/460) or an F series engine from a Renault such as the F7R 2.0 16V 145hp.

If you have a 360 you can fit a 2.0 or 2.3 turbo from a 700 or 900 series.

a question . do the 1721 and 1400 fit the same volvo bellhousing?

What is the ultimate Renault engine which will screw to a 340 bellhousing , the 95 bhp clio 1400 16 valve perhaps .. ? bearing in mind the propshaft ..
