Default 2001 s60 2.0 ts auto

OK, time to sell my s60, its a 51 plate 2001 automatic , with the 180 bhp 2 litre turbo motor, the body work is unmarked (looks like a 1 year old car, not a 11 year old one) and is in a nice pale champagne type gold colour, it has 79000 miles, yes only 79000.
the interior is half leather, and apart from a stain on the drivers seat (lucozade spill, may shampoo out?)is in VERY good condition, with just a chipped console cup holder/ashtray lid.
the car passed it's MOT today, 13 March 2012, with NO advisories, it has 3 new tyres on its alloy wheels, the plugs and filters were changed 4 weeks ago, along with the rear anti roll bar end links, rear brake pads, hand brake shoes, front discs and brake pads.
Everything on the car works as it should, except the usual alarm siren !

i'm looking for offers around 1750 pounds, and you can contact me on 07738981033, cheers guys .

Hi,

What sort of mpg did you get on A and B roads as I may be interested...

Any idea of why it won't start?

Thanks

i was averaging about 25 mpg on my daily commute, (stop start driving, for 7 miles each way).

Sorry to seem blunt, but if i knew why it wouldn't start i would have fixed it !

Hi Keith, i have been told that it may just need a good flushing out as the compression ring may be stickiing to the pistons, causing poor compression when cold. apparently the renault dci engines are notorious for this !

However, my mind is made up and i want rid of the car, the first offer of £500 takes it away, if i don't get this amount, i will break the car for spares.

nothing will happen for a fortnight though as im off on my hols tommorrow !

Gutted for you. I had a similar saga with a 3.0 Jag a couple of years ago that had the same conclusion.
