4 weeks ago I saw a main dealer with an on 03 with 115k on the clock with a sticker price of a whopping £6.5k. We started some negotiations with me saying that we were a long way from what i was prepared to pay - The Dealer wouldn't budge below £4.75k.

The independent dealer I bough mine from let me walk away without even taking my phone number when I was trying to get sub £5k.

There are crappy 02 cars out there fetching over £2.5k and I've seen 02 platers going for £4k.

The market has moved on since I placed the original advert and the mileage on the car has increased slightly to nearly 73,000.

I’ve revised the asking price to £4100.

Hopefully this car, which is in excellent condition, will be of interest to someone.

I’m still open to offers.

I'm sure Chris won't mind me replying but we bought his car about three weeks ago, and a fine car it is too (and it goes like a rocket compared with our 2.4 140bhp V70 - which is still for sale...).

I did my homework and saw that Chris has posted hundreds of times on this forum - he's had several Volvos and done much of the work on them himself. Although much to his consternation I did get an AA inspection, which revealed nothing much at all...

If he has another Volvo up for sale here I'd say check it out soonest.
