Default S60 T5 SE for sale

Volvo S60 T5 SE Geartronic

First registered on the 7th March 2003
MOT until 20th September
Tax until end July
It has 4 former keepers.

This is the bomb proof 2.3 with 250bhp.
It has all the usual SE features which include:
  • Heated seats, which both work
  • Electric driver’s seat with 3 position memory
  • The best stereo I have ever had (and I’m a hi-fi buff)
  • Air bags for air bags
  • Plus the Winter Pack and the inbuilt phone.
Overall this car is in good condition. It is dark blue with sand (I think) interior. It has a full service history and has been mechanically perfectly maintained as required and I have a full set of receipts and MOT’s (see pic) for all the work/services I have had done to it since my ownership in June 2007.
The items I can remember (without ploughing through all the paper work) of being done are:
  • A new exhaust
  • Handbrake shoes
  • MAF
  • Rear shocks
  • New calliper
  • Aircon re-gassed
  • Four wheel alignment recently done
  • Discs and pads all done, fronts at 147k and backs at 127k
  • Wheels refurbed 2 years ago
  • Oh, and some new bosch aero wipers
The last service was done 4k ago in Feb and as it gets serviced about twice per year and my beady eyes and ears pick up on things it always gets looked after.
The wheels are in good condition and the tyres are all good and are all Uniroyal Rainsports with a fair amount of tread still on them.
I have both keyfobs.

It has done 168,000 miles; I have put 100,000 on it. It spends most of its time on the M5&6 so these high miles have not be arduous.

Now the bad points, overall the body work is ok, quite a few dings from the usual carpark’s. There is a scrap on the front bumper and also the back bumper (see pics). The front has quite a few very small stone chips as you would expect from spending its life on the motorway. The heater element on the driver’s door mirror does not work. The only other thing I know that is not right is the joy stick for the mirrors has been glued together; it all still works fine though.

All that being said it’s a great car and fantastic for long distances, I’m still using it so the miles will increase daily.

So what am I after for this, just £1,300 that’s all.

Well guys you lot are hard to please....I'm going to reduce it as I need it gone....

I'm after £1,000, that's all, that has to be a bargain for all this car.

Cheers. I know, it's silly these days. I get 30-33mpg out of it which is pretty good, well bl00dy good really.

I'm going to be staying in the petrol minority, as nowadays, once you take into account the extra on diesel, the over inflated price of a diesel car and the fact that they have more to go wrong (well newer ones do anyway), then there’s not much between them even if you do pretty high millage.

Cheers guys.

I already have too many cars, I'm now using our V40 2.0T Sport Lux, nowhere near the same level of comfort and the radio is pants in comparison, but otherwise a great car.
