Never knew the cilinderhead relates to LHD or RHD. Do you have pics of this head? What 6-digit code is casted above one of the ehaust outlets? Often starting with 600.... en ending with 530, 531, 630, 160 or ....??? Hope to hear...

There's no difference between LHD and RHD heads. The casting number would be nice to know, though.

Numbers stamped on left side are in order: H4
6215
11 (in circle)
6 ..
81 ..
24 ..

In Centre stamped VOLVO
1000 39H
IMP

Does this make any sense?

Default Alternative power?

Unless it's actually for a V8 version? Then the heads would be handed.

I'm guessing it's a 398 head (standard head for B21/B23 engines). The 1000398 casting number would be in the centre of the exhaust side of the head, underneath 'VOLVO' and could easily be mistaken for 100039H.
