Default V60 wind noise at 50-60 mph?

Hello, my V60 seems to suffer from quite a lot of wind noise from the drivers window area at 50-60mph.

I don't know if it's just me being used to a noisy old V70 with rattles and squeaks a-plenty, disguising everything else?

The V60 is otherwise blissfully silent. Any other owners notice this?

Thank you.

No problem with mine but did have similar with xc60, found window rubber would get distorted when window had been fully down.

Well, if I am driving down the A9 with a strong wind from the West, yes it can be a bit noisy on the drivers side.
A price we pay for where we live.

This has been a common fault with the XC60 since it was introduced and the dealers have a cure for it - why they haven't fitted it to all models yet I don't know. Even my latest version suffered from it when initially delivered and I suspect you will gave the same issue.

Essentially it involves taking the mirror cover off, applying some sealing compound to the right places and refitting it.

Takes them around 30 mins but the difference is amazing as the whistle can be very annoying.

Because the OP asked whether any other owners experience the same on their V60's.
Telling the OP that not everyone suffers from it and therefore the issue is not "normal" is, arguably, more helpful than other people chiming in with the same issue, because he implicitly now knows it's something that might be worth checking with a garage, rather than just being "how the car is" and something to live with.

OP: I also have no significant wind noise from my windows, but I do have the security pack with laminated windows, which does (apparently) significantly reduce outside noise.

Thank you for your replies. I will have a look at the seals as best I can, without wanting to probe around too much.

I don't really fancy a trip to the dealers at this stage, which is either an 80 or 130 mile round trip. Another price I pay for living up in the Highlands!

How does this help the OP? I thought he was specifically asking regarding V60 ?
