I call that "elctrical farts". My C30 has that sometimes with the auto up/down of the windows. As well as the odd height setting loss of the lights

The next day: all is fine again

Any help would be brilliant. I love the flick start and use it each time I start it, so I want it to work.

Please help.

Hi mark,
did you sort out your flick start issue? I just had my car serviced and it has somehow stopped the autostart feature.
Look forward to your response and have a great Christmas.

Default Volvo V50 D2 2011 same problem

My problem with autostart function appears on 2011 Volvo V50 D2 1.6 after I changed a battery.
Has anyone found a solution?

Default Which relay to change?

I have still not fixed my Autostart problem on V50 2011 D2. I have checked the fuses, they are fine. Can it be the Starter Relay (R13) in the engine compartment fuse-box?
Are there any manuals with explanations?

Has anyone tried to somehow reset that through VIDA? I tried to do the soft reset by connecting the poles of the battery, and I replaced both switches under the clutch pedal....but I didn't check to see if there is something to do via VIDA? I also can't get it to start for 2 years on my v50 D2...and I remember the moment it stopped working, a friend of mine plugged his scan tool, checked for some errors, cleared them, and I remember he turned the key and held it in a traditional way to start the engine, and theres no autostart ever since...
