Default Rear lower wing repair panel

'ello,

I need to put in the above repair panel/s. (rear wing) I am just wondering how to attach it to the outside edge of the car..I can't weld along the seam visible from the outside, and I can't weld from inside cos there's nothing to attach the new panel to...welding the panel to the boot floor is easy, but leaves me with the outside edge problem..to those who have been there before me..how did you do it?
Thanks
d

On the curved edge of the wingyou should have a short return into the boot. If this had rotted away you willneed towled it back in. From the outside you need to fill the seam joint with seamsealer before painting.

If yours are too bad (as they tend to be) - VP has made a repair panel - I have no knowledge of the fit and quality, but I bet that it's a 100% better than none!..

It's a pity that they don't make those repair panels for estates too!
