Headlight Wash

Folks,
any hints please. only one of my headlight washers is operating, and with xenon headlights i dont want a ticket from my colleagues if im stopped!!!
any ideas what i should look for before she goes to the volvo hospital!!

Is the nozzle extending? Is the nozzle/cover still attached?

yes nozzle is extending just not squirting and cover is attached
