Saving destinations.
Oddly when I search 'Sat nav' in this forum it comes back with "Sorry - no matches. Please try some different terms." even though I'm sure I've searched correctly, and there are plenty on here.
Anyhow, my uestion is how do I save a destination? I can load destinations from 'previous', but the 'Saved destinations' is grayed out, and I can't figure out how to add anything. If I select a recent destination, I can see no option to add it to the saved list. Anyone care to enlighten me please? Or point me to a user manual online... Thanks. VCC part number 31456966 1520 Includes map 3147790

It's in the User Manual
I'm reading the USA manual, the UK manual should be similar: Storing a location Storing for re-use Up to 250 destinations can be stored for reuse. Saving a position on the map 1. Use the navigation control to go to Map mode to navigate to the area to be saved as a destination and press ENTER. 2. Select Store location in the sub-menu and press ENTER. The Store location option is available in many places. Example, when you search for a streetname and number, you can also save it

Thanks Swiss.
So you have to locate where you want to store by finding it on the map!? Can't you simply put a postcode in, and instead of just pressing Start Route, press Save? I guess not as I don't see this option. My workaround has been to set a location by postcode, then I have to add it to an itinerary ... and then I can save it. Seems daft.

OK cheers I think I've figured it out, but it's a bit long winded. You'd think there would be a save location right at the point of input.
Better find a user manual!

Regardless of how you decide to set a destination, you can save every destination.
I have around 20 common destinations saved, the most common one used is A_Home I call it A_Home so it appears at the top of the list when sorted alphabetically
