Default trip computer upgrade for 850 1992

i need a trip computer display and info switch from an old scrap 1991-1992 850, or the volvo kit to do it and some info on how to fit it, or if its even possible. my car has the Bosch LH3.2 system linked to a Volvo B5254FS engine. please contact me on 01205 369504 or AdamKay_UK@Hotmail.com

Take a look back about 2 'pages' for >computer upgrade<, or search, and you will find loads of input on this. The final word seems to be that its not possible without a software download from a Volvo dealer which would be £300.00 + the parts you require...

yes this is a similar idea, the only difference is there systems were to modern using OBD-II, so requiring a software update. i believe the old Bosch LH3.2 systems, without the data socket, are upgradable just by changing the VDO digital display, which has a separate Volvo part number on it. looking at the printed circuit at the back, there is a ribbon cable feeding this digital display and not all of the pins are used. the other thing i need to find is the connector for the info switch, if anyone has the wire colours i would appreciate it.
