Default Synthetic Moter Oil

I went to Costco today to get my usual Mobil 1 5W-40 Moter oil, But ended up geting some Chevron Supreme 5W-40 Fully synthetic moter oil.
Has anyone heard of this American oil? and will it be OK for our turbo cars?
its the cheapest Synthetic oil I have seen at only £9.99 for 4 Litres + VAT for the same spec as mobil 1!.

All the best, Tony.

Just check the specs -- as long as it's API SH or SJ, CCMC G4 and ACEA A3 certified then you're sorted.

Hi ya,

As our friend is in Uncle Sam they have different Mobil 1. I have recently heard the non 0w/40 is not fully syn anymore like a few other US brands.

For ours in the UK stop with the Mobil 0w/40 as i have used it every since it came out and the previous incarnation of 5w/50.

Nice to c u at the national again have you removed that grille guard yet ?
