Default I need a fuel filter elbow fitting

Hi folks, I'm in need to one elbow fitting for the fuel filter on a v40/s40 it's the metal elbow with the quick release connector that plugs onto the filter in front of the passenger side rear wheel and the other end is pushed into the rubber fuel hose.

One of mine is rusted and I need it for the Mot, The parts department at chiswick volvo tell me the only way by one buy a new one is to get the entire fuel line kit which is pretty ridiculous!
Anyone breaking a car with one on in good condition or got one tucked away somewhere?

Thanks!

I would try a different parts dept. Several years ago I needed a similar pipe for my old P1. Being a '97 model it was on the cusp of a change in the pipe design, so the parts chappie could not identify the correct pipe. He ordered all the pipes it might have been and let me choose the correct one once the pipes were in stock. I only bought the one pipe I needed and only charged for that one.

I think you will need the complete pipe as the ends are fitted with a special machine very much like high pressure hydraulic pipes.

Oh that's interesting thanks, I didnt even bother to ask the price as it looked like a huge kit (which feels rather stupid now) maybe I will try our friends at Swansea.

Here's a picture of how it currently looks:

You don't have to use those by law, as long as you attach them securely. A jubilee clip will do.
