Easy home fix with scrapyard parts that. No airbag deployment means you can do it at home.
Even if written off, that'll be through the auctions and back on the road in weeks.

The good news is, the other parties insurers have accepted full liability.
Car is being picked up Thursday for assessment then either repair or write off. At the same time Enterprise will be supplying a hire car. My insurer is now out of the loop and I am dealing with the other drivers insurers directly. In the meantime I am still driving it, got to use up all that diesel just in case. She looks pretty ugly, but continues to drive just the same as usual. I am not even thinking about testing the front passenger window, I suspect the regulator is probably toast. I have loads of pictures, so here is another one. The rear wheel arch is all paint transfer from the other cars plastic bumper, I suspect in theory I could remove all that damage from the area apart from the scratch but I'll leave it.

Plus only £35 road tax, and no Adblue since it predates the installation.

Hopefully the insurer will authorise repairs in full but just in case they do write your V90 off it may be worth considering buying the salvage back from them and having it repaired as your cost.
This company in Preston specialise in parts, new and used, including doors etc from late model Volvos and may be able to help. I've never used them personally but I know a local bodyshop who recommended them. https://www.volvobreakers.co.uk/ Looking at your photos it seems that two nearside doors and associated paintwork will get the job done, you may even find doors of the correct colour and swop your inscription parts over if they come from a Momentum or R Design V90. Good Luck in whatever the outcome.

Many years ago the daughters fiat got rear ended so a no fault claim, bent tailgate, cracked bumper and tailgate wouldn't shut. Insurance write off as uneconomical repair.
Insurance offer was a joke so pushed back quoting values from auto trader, this worked and paid out a much better offer. We then purchased the car back for £300 (car value and payout was £2300), obtained a used tailgate and bumper and a big hammer to realigned the lock and it was back on the road. We had to take it to a test centre to confirm vehicle identity (not the actual repair!) Daughter put the remaining £1500 in an ISA. |

It's not even necessary to take it to a test centre now.
The car will just be flagged as Category N or S write off, but in reality that doesn't affect insuring or driving it at all - it just reduces it value. There's a whole industry of small garages (including a few who document everything they do on Youtube) that buy these lightly damaged cars and repair them as new for relatively little. The issue with insurance is that they only use new parts and they have to factor in the cost of hire cars etc - whereas once bought as salvage then used parts are used which keeps the cost down. A 5 year old car has 5 year old doors before the crash so is fine with different 5 year old doors afterwards after all.

Quick update on my V90,
Repairs authorised, so it lives on. Two doors, blend into front, paint and blend rear quarter and bumper, refurb rear alloy wheel and replace tyre. its going to take a few weeks before it comes back though.
