Flywheel removal 960 24V
I have to replace my crankshaft rear oil seal soon. I have seen a 24V engine in a breakers yard and noticed the flywheel retaining bolts are not hexagional bolts they look like star or torx. Could some one confirm they type and size of the socket I need to buy.
Thanks Keith |

RE: Flywheel removal 960 24V
If you buy a set of Torx (six-spline) heads and a set of twelve-spline heads from Halfords they will fit all the sizes you will ever need in a 940/960/S&V90. I also have a set of sockets (in two racks) covering from 8mm to 32mm also from Halfords. I have not yet been stumped for a suitable socket or head. It would certainly be worthwhile investing in a torque wrench to complete the tool list. All the best, Peter |
