Front drop link replacement.
Hi again.
I disconnected the drop links on my wifes s40, so that I could change the front springs. While I was reconnecting them the allen key hole in the end of the bolt face has rounded off. Now I can't tighten them up. They do look quite corroded and could probably do with being replaced. Here's the question; Can replace the ball joints, and can I get them off the same way as a bottom ball joint by using a splitter? Stu. Last edited by I have a nut leftover; Sep 20th, 2008 at 13:50. |

Gonna replace them both, just got a new pair of front drop links from euro car parts for £16.30ish.
The new ones aint got daft allen key holes in the ends either, I can get a 15mm oe spanner on to hold these ones still. Stu. |
