I don't have actual figures for the colours but you may like to peruse this:
The following information was released by Volvo Press Office. I've extracted the more salient points: 5 January 1995 Stunning Volvo 850 T-5R for the limited few A spectacular limited edition, based on Volvo's high performance 850-T5 models, is starring on the Volvo Stand at Autosports International alongside the 1994 BTCC Volvo 850 estate racer. Finished in head-turning cream yellow , the new 850 T-5R is powered by a 2.3 litre turbocharged engine which produces a massive 240bhp compared with the standard T-5's 225bhp. Exclusivity is also standard in the 850 T-5R package with just 2,500 examples of the car available worldwide, with a mere 200 of those earmarked for UK customers. In addition to the eyecatching exterior paintwork, the T-5R gains a lower, more aggressive front spoiler and foglamps as standard, whilst the 17\" graphite grey alloy wheels shod with Pirelli P-Zero tyres are obviously inspired by Volvo's involvement in BTCC racing. Figures Prices £27,800 for saloon, £28,840 for the estate Output 240bp at 5600rpm 0-62 mph 6.9 seconds (saloon) 7.0 seconds (estate) Standard Equipment Electric glass sunroof Electric memory front seats TRACE 5 spoke 17\" alloys SIPS bag Front bumper with integrated spoiler Rear spoiler (saloon) Roof rails (estate) Luggage net (estate) Load compensating suspension (estate) In a seperate article on the T5R this: There were also built a few white pearl T-5R's that were pre-production T-5R cars. These cars were originally built for testing the engines and chassis when increasing the power in the 850 turbo. Just before the launch of the \"real\" T-5R's a few of the white pearl cars were built and shipped to a few dealers for showcars. These cars are therefore very rare (which is why I would like one ) |

It is great to own such great cars
I wonder how difficult it would be for DVLA to find out? They usually do searches for a fee.....

Spotlight your T5R?
OK you lucky T5R people, this may be a bit early but I like to plan ahead.
The next International Classic Car show at the NEC in Birmingham is end of October. I don't know yet if we will get a 2 or 3 car stand. I have in mind an Amazon (this year marks the 50th anniversary of that model) and a T5R, preferably the cream yellow. The owner will need to be a VOC member and the car needs to look good. Over to you all... Bob

Hi, can you post some pictures of your white T5-R as they are very rare. I thought that they were only sold in the USA!
