I'd love to see that. My first Volvo was white. I think it's the best color for a car. I find it really easy to clean and I think it make's a car look more sporty.

When I had mine new Jan 95,, was reliably informed, that there was to be 2500 worldwide, with 200 for the uk market,, in Creme Yellow or black,(all early ones M plate) followed by the Olive pearl's (mainly N plater's)
Only option,s were man or auto, saloon or est, and with or without pass airbag, I believe there were 219 in total r/h drive cars done, with the yellow the rarest !!
Would be very interested in seeing a genuine White T5-R ?? and knowing the Vin number !!!

Smile more stats

According to my manual all t5r`s make 240hp on overboost and torque is 330Nm for the manuals and 300Nm for the autos. Sure that manuals 0 - 60 is 6.7s too but could be wrong!

ps mines an olive green

I got a email attachment back from the DVLA as a word doc explaining they would need chassis numbers and reg plates??
Good luck. I am also a bit of a V dub head about ten years ago there was a beetle census to try and find out how many bugs were in the UK.
You sent a cheque for I think £3.50 and you get a sticker +your reg number and owner in a book called beetle census. The book never went into production. That guy probably made a mint!
May be something similar but without the rip off bit would be a good idea?
Ebay would be as good a place as any to advertise as there seems to be one or two T5Rs a week for sale....

Thumbs up A T-5R Register

Hi Dan, there are two T-5Rs on a certain on-line auction site at the moment. T-5Rs do seem to appear for auction at an alarming rate - I saw one with over 250,000 miles recently that was up for auction. I'll start a register today in the performance section forum for people to list details of their T-5Rs.

The next International Classic Car show at the NEC in Birmingham is end of October. I don't know yet if we will get a 2 or 3 car stand. I have in mind an Amazon (this year marks the 50th anniversary of that model) and a T5R, preferably the cream yellow. The owner will need to be a VOC member and the car needs to look good.
Over to you all...

I think my membership has ran out! January! I have to check, but if I do say so myself I have a very clean example, I bought from main stealer with 50,000 on the clock 3 years ago full main stealer service history, since I am a professional car valeter she's highly polished and has only done 84,000 and totally orginal. Cream yellow and an estate. Only thing wrong is there's a crack runing up the instrument panel screen, hopefully will be sorted before summer, apart from that she's mint no dengs or scratches. Oh and the alloys are slightly darker than spec.
But I am sure they will be cleaner examples out there!
