No nasty surprises
I took the screen out of my 61 4 door today because it was badly scratched.it is so nice to pull a screen out and not find any rot underneath. It just needed the old sealant removing, someanti rust primer and paint, the pop the new screen in with a new seal and the original trim. The old girl is coming along nicely.

You make it sound so easy!!
Firstly, excellent news that the surround has no rot but I thought reinstalling and getting the trim back in was a b*****d of a job!! Dave |
