Seat restoration experience
Recently decided to do a front seat restoration on my P1800s. I used Furnitureclinic.co.uk to source the materials, match the seat colour and provided advice on how to restore and repair the seats. In all a very positive experience, a quick chat to them confirmed that they should do a colour match for me (at a very reasonable cost of £10). This was done within one working day of me providing a small colour match sample. I sourced from them the colourant, a colourant kit, a leather repair kit to fix a small rip in the seat base and a leather care kit to provide on-going cleaning and polishing. In all the total cost came to £138.85. I was surprised how easy it was to carry out the restoration and the repairs and I was delighted with the results. In all it took the best part of a weekend to do. Furnitureclinic have some "how to do" videos on their website and the kits also come with detailed instructions.
I've attached some before and after pictures.
highly recommended.
