As I'm sure you all have noticed every single picture in this build thread is a broken link these days. I definitely regret using third party hosting instead of simply adding pictures as attachments. Lesson learned..

Last month I found the old hard drive that has all the original pics and I'd love to be able to update/fix this thread. Since we are not allowed to edit our posts my hands are tied unfortunately. So what are my options? This build thread is literally useless without pics and I'd hate to see it fade into pointlessness.

I worked on this over the weekend and now have all five of my project threads here rebuilt in Google Docs with updated pics in their proper spots.

This time around I'd like to use attachments when bringing them back into the threads. That will future proof things. Since there's a limit of 5 attachments per post is it possible for the mods to break up a post into two parts? For example, post #1 in this thread has 6 images, so it would need to be broken up into two new posts - one with 5 attachments and the next with 1 attachment.

It's definitely going to be some work, there's 93 posts with pictures in this big thread. :/

It will probably be too time consuming and complex to get all of it up here. How about starting a blog somewhere like BlogSpot and linking here to that?

http://bloginstructions.blogspot.co.uk/

Example http://123gt.blogspot.co.uk/

You could also just use a link to GoogleDrive maybe?

I have noticed recently a lot of 3rd party hosting going down.

This was a nice thread back the day and a credit that the OP is trying to resurect; it is a shame when well constructed threads disappear.

Thanks for taking the time to re-up the images etc.

Someone contacted me recently who has now bought my old wagon. Naturally he had some questions so that motivated me to finish updating the Google Doc with all the pics. It's not ideal, but it's better than nothing: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1...it?usp=sharing
