Default Unusual revving

When I start the car it revs to about 2500 and drops after two seconds (hot or cold) when driving it revs to 2500 when I stop at a junction, sitting at idle if I touch the throttle a tiny little bit it revs to 2500 - 3000rpm for about 1 -2 seconds and then drops to idle. If I rev it higher it slowly drops back to 3000 holds for a second and then drops to normal. However the weird bit is if my foot is on the clutch it behaves its self normaly.

best thing to do is plug it in to VIDA. ECU will have stored codes from the issue
