Steering box
Hi Andy,
you have the B18 type of steering box = pre safety type. The date on your steering box is also a indicator for when your car was made. In the old days (pre computer) did the mechanics at Volvo always use this date, when ordering spareparts, as the steering box was one of the last parts to go on the car. This means its the most accurate way to date the car, without having access to Volvo,s heritage archive. Jens Christian. |
