Seat adjustment
I have been having problems with he seat adjustment. I can't get the full forward adjustment and the lock lever seems to be stuck. Is the lever in the correct alignment, can you tell from the photo, should the locking pawl be inside the rail? also what is the correct way to replace the seat. Should it slide in from the front or the rear?

I think the PV seats just slide off the back having just a rudimentary stop. Backs come off after removing a couple of bolts so with those off its easier to work on the base. All of these old sliders are finicky but I see you do have some grease on them.
Apologies if none of the above is true.............! |

Sorted, from the front to back. It had been forced on from the back by previous owner. Must have had long legs.
