Default XC90 Bi-Xenon Headlights

Just fitted some Osram Xenarc Night Breaker Unlimited DS1 lamps in my 2011 Se Lux D5 (200) AWD which has Active Bi-Xenon headlights .
Cannot believe the difference in light out put from standard Osram DS1 lamps they are expensive and you have to watch out from copies'i bought mine from
Powerbulbs £122.99 for the pair plus 20% off and free delivery total £98.39 ,powerbulbs are an official Osram partner so genuine lamps that you can check via Osram site each lamps has its own number .
Well Impressed
Mick

You wanna run them during the day time as much as possible for the first week or so.

HID's have a burn in period where they gradually get brighter after first use.

Interesting. Had either of the old bulbs popped or were you just replacing old bulbs with new ones? I knew filament bulbs degrade over time but I don't know much about HID bulbs.

Yes, HIDs degrade.

My so-called genuine HIDs have yellowed after 1.5 years, they change from white at top beam cutoff to orange-yellow as the beam goes down.
I am sure I bought chinese copies.

And my lenses are clear.

Non of bulbs had gone but i got a warning up several times
BULB FAILURE DIPPED BEAM
non of bulbs actually went out I checked connection in headlight all appeared to be ok so I thought I would buy some new ones at a better price than i can get locally and now i have a couple of spares to play with if one fails
I know you change them in pairs but they would get me out of trouble till new ones obtained
my dip beam is on all time on daylight running lights i have had the car 12 month next Friday and i used car daily so hope new Osrams last the same

Powerbulbs are giving 20% off at the moment using the voucher code TREAT. That brings the set of two bulbs down to £98.39
