PV 544 roof rack

I'm having trouble finding a wooden empi style rack for my 544. Here in the states, vw bugs use the empi wooden rack which look very nice. Is there a source across the pond where I might find one? Has anyone used the empi style rack and will it fit on the 544?

Hi, we have this on our 444, don't know the make and if a 544 roof is much different. I could take some photo,s and measurement if that would help in case you could get one made.

Hi, there's one in Sweden, on the Blocket site, put Volvo PV in Cars section, then whole of Sweden. It's on the first page.
