Default Just Bought a V50 1.8 SE and have a serious problem

Hi,
Hoping someone can help me! I bought a 2008 V50 1.8SE. Loving the car but 3 days ago I got a signal saying serious engine failure and it has gone into "limp mode" I now have a yellow engine light. Have tried to reset but to no avail. Can anyone help and advise what I need to do Many Thanks

I'd go for a complete oil and filters (oil and fuel) change first before jumping into more serious diagnostics. A clogged or destroyed fuel filter gives the symptoms you describe - fingers crossed it's something as simple as that

If you bought it from a dealer - back to him to sort.
