I know there have been quite a few posts about the great work of Russ and his team, but I am so impressed and happy with the work done to my 854 T5 I had to mention them again.
My car was starting to feel a bit rough; it has done 194k now and was starting to feel like it. It was down on power and the steering was very vague. It also used to pull all over the road under braking. The car had been serviced by my local garage and not a Volvo Specialist for a few years and this had started to show.
Anyway I took the car into RT Mechanics for a Health Check and got a rather long list back! However Russ did say that the car was straight and once all the work was done it would be up together enough for the RICA 304.
Here is the list of work done by RT....
Both Front Wishbones
Turbo drain seal
Both Fronts Shocks
Both Front Shock top mounts
Breather system cleaned and replacement parts
Aux Drive Belt
Turbo Valve Diaphragm
Tracking
Top Mounts
Gear Box Oil Change
Engine Oil and Filter
Poly Top Mount
Rear Trailing Arm Bushes
HT Leads
Bulk Head Mount
Top Intercooler mount
Samco Water Hoses
RICA 304 ECU
The car now is just unbelievably good, very quick and the boost is fantastic. It boosts off the turbo gauge! I know I have spent more money on it than it is worth, but I still reckon you can't go out and buy anything as quick for what it owes me.
My car will never go anywhere else now, they do a great job.
