Default Wind Noise! Am i going mad?

The company I work for has recently bought four new S40's and one V50. Out of the five cars, three (including mine) are experiencing wind noise from the drivers window! It's not constant and can happen at any speed. Volvo have looked at two of the S40's and say that there is definatly NOT a problem and don't wish to follow the matter up!!

I would like to know if anyone else is getting this problem and if there is possibly a fix for it!!

My car is '05 S40 SE Sport 2.0D model.

Default RE: Wind Noise! Am i going mad?

I have a 2002 V40SD that used to have wind whistle from the passenger side.. it seemed to be coming from the wing mirror. It all stopped after I was forced off the motorway into cones at 70mph.. taking off the mirror and setting off the roof air bag. When my Volva came bake from being fixed, the whistle had gone. If it is a whistle (try with window down) it may be your mirror.

Hope that helps a little.
