Default Interior lights not working

My doors open and the footlights come on but nothing else.
I can switch on and off the map lights front row and in the back.
I changed the third row lights and boot to led, which worked but then stopped along with the other courtesy lighting.
It was dark when I tested this all.
Looking at the fuses, nothing seems amiss.
Anyone got a clue?!?
Feel free to highlight if I'm being a buffoon of course....

If it' brght outside the interior lights won't come on. Try again in the dark

As I wrote in my original post, it was dark when I tested all of this. Because it was night time.

Change back to "normal lamps" and see what happens.

Might be the car "thinks" there's a problem due to the high resistance of the LED lamps.

I've changed my boot lid lamp to LED and it works fine as do the rest but they are normal incandescent lamps

Cheers

Dave

Thank you Dave,
I followed your advice, and when he doors are opened the third row lights do illuminate again. However, the front and middle rows remain in darkness, the the map lights work fine when pressed.
The courtesy light button when pressed will switch on or off the footwell and boot lights, but nothing happening in the middle and front roof.
What the ruddy heck?
Bright ideas welcome

Some cars - don't know if this applies to Volvos or not - have a 3 way switch for interior lights (usually actually on the lamp in question)

It can be set to ON, OFF or courtesy - typically mid position is totally off, one way is ON the other way puts Control to the door switches.

I just looked in my handbook and Volvo do it with software (of course) and long or short presses of the lighting switches

See the attached pics for info

Cheers

Dave

So. Resetting the EUM by locking and unlocking the car remotely (not opening the doors) sorted this.

I have put Led lighting in the third row and in the foot wells successfully, but the other lights I shall leave warm and incandescent.
Thank you for the contributions!

Unlocking the doors and locking the doors three times is the way to reset.
