Not yet, Alex.

It is going to get painted by a friend on the forum and will be fitted upon its return.

I have just bought a pair of uprated boot struts from Jabe, to control the additional weight upon the bootlid.

Pics will most definitely follow fitting.

After that, repairs to the stonechips and new scratches that appeared on the bonnet, earlier this week. Looks like a bit of vandalism, but no idea who would have done it.

GRRR! Raging about that!

At least they will get sorted at the same time as the chips.

It's not that heavy, but I suppose it is because of the weight being perched at the furthest extremity from the hinges that increases the effect of the added weight.

I would estimate the weight at between 1 and 1.5 kilos, max.

I am looking forward to getting it painted properly and then fitted.
