Default Front Struts ... needing help

All.... what I thought would be quite a simple job lol....

I have just changed both the front springs on my 2003 S40 both had broken.

All was going smoothly until I put it back together...

Now on both sides I have a clunking noise coming from the springs.

Can someone post me a picture of the top mount and what the angle should be ......

Or can someone tell me how to ensure I have them lined up correctly ?

I'm concerened either I have the wrong springs, but did confirm with the supplier before purchasing ..... Or is it just me being a muppet

Cheers
Johnathan

Copperknob, thanks for the quick reply, yes hind sight is 20x20..... but I think I've found the issue, the spring supplied are approx 3 inches higher than the original, hence when compressed they were rubbing against the chassis.

Now for my next bit of help, can someone provide me with a part number for the correct ones ??? It's a 2003 1.8l petrol sports lux. (maybe lowered springs hence i was supplied the wrong ones)

Cheers again
Johnathan
