Default Vacuum pump o ring replacement tips

Hi
On my car i don't have the black plastic connector on the brake booster port , mine is metal.

I have purchased the o ring for my car , part no 8658102 .

Do i have to take the pump off to do this ?

Is it an easy job ?

Default Vacuum pump brake Port

Hi all,
Not very good at using these forums but I noticed I had the same problem. I.e. that the brake port on my vacuum pump didn’t have a plastic union, it only has what I can imagine is a press fit oil seal. Any ideas, and on how to reseal this (mines quite loose and causes popping but only on gentle sideways pressure). I’ve got a 2002 D5 V70
