What's this piston/strut in the boot?
Hi all,
Please see the attached image for some kind of piston/strut/damper that I found in the boot when I lifted the floor up. What is it? A mate at work says it's the seatbelt pre-tensioner system, however he also said there should be another one on the right laying horizontally, however there isn't. He did have a V90 and not a V60 like mine if that makes a difference. Is my mate correct? If so, how does it work as it appears the boot floor interferes with the top of it, indeed, as I was trying to lever the floor out it ended up resting on it which then made me worry
