Never used either, but these are the two that always get mentioned when asked on Pistonheads:

A bit of 'lateral' thinking got me to ring a couple of local vehicle accident repair shops. Both had full 4 wheel laser alignment equipment and moreover, unlike KwikFit, they know how to use it. Might be worth a try if you have someone suitable - for me they were much cheaper and did a brill job.

What was the problem they fixed?
I have to much -camber on mine and its been in at Volvo Aberdeen 3 times and I'm still loosing a couple of thousand k out my front tyres.
Im convinced they don't adjust just check and if in spec then leave it.

I know being picky but I explained the problem to the service manager before I replaced the tyres as a pair of shoes is expensive.

As I understand it, the main reason for doing this is to correct the front wheels from 'scrubbing/jumping' when turning tight corners e.g. pulling away from a T junction. It seems particularly bad when reversing on full lock. Certainly it was the problem that I had (and solved) and, judging from the forum, it seems to be a bit of a 'known problem'.

I had my S80's four wheel laser alignment carried out by a place in Wishaw - tiz only around 20 minute drive from Lenzie.

The garage is here: http://www.autotecgarage.com/

Service is fantastic and the owner (Jon) is a great guy - very friendly and very informative.
