Goal is to have it so it seems like a original car that has been really well looked after and not over restored. I'm big into using paints that will last and protect the car and she will be extremely well rust proofed as she will get well used again when done. So original type finishes, where Volvo used satin paint it will be satin etc rather than gloss and no polished parts that were never polished. The big one is the interior which will mainly be original throughout even with the rubber mats to keep the original feeling where I will be spending my time as I love the charm and style of the original interior.

Gave the engine and gearbox a good clean and a rub down. Plan is epoxy primer and then topcoat.

A gold star for anyone who can spot what is incorrect. :-)
