vans all seem the same regards rust, once it starts, it spreads fast. Makes aense. They are all built to a size, a weight, and a price. Build one like a luxury car and it will weigh 3 tons empty - useless !

From an MOT viewpoint , I see rear brake faults ( seized or little effort ) due to seized / not working load sensing valve , door locks not working , electrical switches not working for important lights , usual things.

Parts are not that cheap & diagnostic software / hardware is pretty slim . I am fairly certain that Snapon do not support them

used load valve parts on evilbuy for £20+.
new brake load valve assembly complete best part of £200 new. At least its available. Seems that the new van will have the same parts as the old so supply might improve

I enjoyed driving my van, they’re not Merc or Ford quality but they’re sufficient for the job. I ordered three brand new ones with tail lifts, AC, privacy glass etc. We got em quite quickly and they were delivered on the Wednesday 14.00hrs... one of them were wrecked by 08.30 the next day It was rear ended by an articulated truck. It was reshelled and we got it back three months later. The other drivers wouldn’t touch it so I ended up driving it and it was fine. Regular trips to Scotland, Ireland with no issues. It was only when they stopped vehicle allocation and then any man and his cat was thrashing em that we started getting problems with em. I’d happily drive one again.
