Its not at a main dealer and I doubt they would know where it is for sale

I dont change channels much hence thinking it could live in the glovebox.

But you are probably right I would get used to it!!!

To dig up an old thread rather than start a new one...
i've been considering getting a Highway 300Di for my V70 P3 as I'm sick of having to stream radio through my phone and my OEM head unit has lost all AM frequencies.

So I've been reading through this thread and the job doesn't seem too difficult to do. I'd more than happily give it a go.
What I'm a little confused about though is the Volvo installation kit that has been mentioned previously.

Does this come with the Pure highway DAB radio? Or is this an additional kit?

Anyone got the part number for the kit?
How much would i be looking to pay for it?

Thanks!

The deal when it was introduced about 3 years ago was supplied and fitted for £295 .. the parts were not available on their own . Not sure on the situation now .. You could buy the 300i and fit it yourself , but it would not have the volvo display bracket or custom loom . The DAB 300i is now replaced by the similar 400 , and 600 which has phone bluetooth as well .

Thanks Clan.
I should have known it'd have been a limited time thing!
I have the bluetooth in the car already, just keen to fit a DAB really, and one that adds ipod capability, as the AUX connection way of doing things sucks.

Hi, anyone know if the Volvo fitting kit is still available and part numbers? I see that amazon have the Pure DAB 200, 400 and 600 on a special offer right now.

The fitting parts are still listed in the volvo parts catalogue , but unlikely to fit the new 200 400 and 600 models , the volvo kit came with aerial adapters too . The PURE kit should have everything you need for a "standard" installation ...
