blank infotainment screen
Sorted out the phone symbol query I had, thanks for that advice, but it seems to have led to another problem
Went to the car today and the screen shows all the info as usual then after 20 secs the screen went blank, also on satnav a series of red crosses along two roads appeared (one road is closed with flood issues the other isn't) Did a "back to factory settings" which removed the red crosses on sat nav but the screen still goes blank as before. When I press any button for info or put the car into reverse the screen comes to life but then blank again! Any advice appreciated |

Hi,
It is likely that the "Screen Saver" option is ticked somewhere within the menu systems as this would explain it working for a while and then going off.... https://az685612.vo.msecnd.net/pdfs/...GB_TP21536.pdf page 18 (16 of the actual document) on the link above should help on this. Page 16 (14 of the actual document) also covers the "Speed In Infotainment Display" that I pointed you towards yesterday Last edited by MtillingVolvo; Feb 28th, 2020 at 11:41. |

Thanks, I remember seeing an option re; screen saver but didn't think I had "ticked"the box, I will check this afternoon, I would have thought "reset factory settings would have cleared this issue.
This previous post re; which forum I should follow you asked "admin" where my model sat, did they get back to you? Thanks again Paul C |

Ticked the box everything OK
Just getting a bit suspicious as the Manufacturer's warranty ends in three weeks time. Thanks |
