Default Sensus reboot - battery?

My sensus couldn’t finish the Glympse update and its been ‘updating software’ for 4 days now, I managed to install new maps since, but its back stuck on this never ending update, I even deleted glympse.

I tried disconnecting the battery in the boot but it didn’t work, I assume I need to disconnect the other one too, or is there a fuse I can pull instead to cycle the thing?

Disconnecting the battery in the boot is normally sufficient. I've not read of anyone disconnecting the secondary battery so the result may be unpredictable.

It might need the dealer to do a reset.

Just disconnect the -ve terminal on the Battery in the Boot ONLY, then go and make a cuppa and wait 10 mins to allow all the cars electronics to totally deactivate.

Thanks guys, i did pull the neg off the battery for 10 minutes to no avail, I will give it another go and time it this time, I may have been short!

Certainly nothing reset, Sensus was still set the same way I left it when powered up.

How easy was it to get to the battery?

A while back, when I was having voltage problems, I looked at getting to the battery, but was not sure how to remove the trim in case I damaged it.
In the end, the problem was solved with a software update.
Thanks.

Easy, lift the boot floor and simply lift away the trim from the bottom, its only retained by 2 tabs at the top. Just pull up slightly at the bottom and it comes free.
