Default Stereo, Sat Nav and Parking Assist Not Working

Was out this morning and on starting the car, the stereo which usually starts automatically wouldn't turn on. Tried to manually switch it on but the black and white start up screen flashed up then turned off again. Also noticed that the sat-nav and parking assist alarm isn't working either. Any ideas what this could be? I'm assuming it's not a fuse as they'd have separate fuses.

Thanks in advance!

I don't think there's a fuse or relay that controls all three is there?

Default FM just static

Hi Guys

I just bought an XC70 from a V70 and the radio only has static on FM1,2 and 3.
I appreciate it that there a lot of threads on this issue, but could someone tell me where the second FM signal booster box is located. I found the one in the RH side of the boot just under the rear cluster light but no idea where the second one is.
The one I found was not connected to the rear bumper, but even connecting it up and trying another off ebay made a blind bit of difference.

It has the HU850 unit fitted any help would be very much appreciated as I cannot get any traffic news now and have been caught up in traffic twice now!

Thanks

Managed to fix my problem.

Used the ODB reader and checked for codes. Nothing.

The fuses for the audio unit are located at the back on the left hand side, under the blue compartment. Checked them and they all looked fine.

Next step, which was rumoured to work, but I didn't have much faith was to disconnect the negative terminal from the battery. Did that, left it for a couple of minutes and reconnected it and the radio started working automatically. Sat nav also worked. Didn't check the reverse alarm but it should work.

Default Same fault C70

I just bought a C70 with exactly the same faults. I had the whole cd, dash unit & lcd display out today. I dismantled the CD player and extracted 6 cd's. Put it all back together, no joy. Can anyone tell me if the large LCD display is also the computer that controls the actual radio etc?

Mate, I would just disconnect the earth terminal for a minute and then reconnect. I think that should fix your problem.
